Strength training while travelling

I'm going to be travelling for the next month or so, and was looking for some good strength/weight training advice. Medicine ball? Dumbells? I need exercise aids that are portable and easy to use, since I have never really done weight training without selectorized machines.

what about resistance bands.
or good old push-ups, sit-ups, leg lifts and lunges.
many hotels now have exercise "on demand"
check a yoga or pilates book out of the library and do some moves for 20 minutes.

You can also get those weights you make by filling them with water. Resistance band routine is a great idea.
