Is the ADD leading to problems of overeating or undereating?
Friday, July 7, 2006, 1:16 PM
the article said it led to both, especially overeating because the food is used to self medicate.

Not enough nutrition
ADD and many other disorders are linked to nutrition. Anything that denies your body of nutrition will bring on diseases.
My mother was told she was allergic to eggs. She did not believe the MD and did not follow the prescribed eating and exercise plan. By the time she was in her 40s she could not remember anything, was easily lost, etc. By 70, she started having seizures, and could not be left alone. She had a massive seizure at 75 and has basically destroyed her brain. She is in a nursing home with full care. She does not know anyone, cannot speak.
And, yes upon investigation at 75, she is allergic to eggs and because we moved states and she did not tell the MD she took flu shots and other medications cultured in eggs. Because she signed the forms at the MDs office stating that her history is truthful and honest I cannot sue the MD for negligence.
YES, NUTRITION is important and so is exercise. Genetics is only 30% -- Lifestyle is 70%.
