Starbucks Coffee Cakes- an eye opener

I just looked up the nutrition info at their web page and entered the info for my favorite-- the Classic Coffee Cake. It tastes so good with their burnt coffee, almost making it tolerable. It has a walnut filling. And it has so much bad stuff in it, I cannot in good concsicne eat another one. This is worse than discovering there is no Santa Claus.

Eating just 100 calories over your needs every day -- gain 10 lbs a year!

Yes, I discovered that and cut it out as well as all the other bad stuff and discovered that I lost weight.

Then, I found the little comment .... just eating 100 calories OVER what you need every day will net you at least 10 lbs weight gain a year.

Over the course of a five years thats 50 lbs, over a decade its 100 lbs .... no wonder folks have a weight problem.
