I'm plateau-ing

Help! I've been on the weight plateau for about a month. I'd like to lose about 5 pounds more. Any suggestions?

If you are not doing so laready, cut salt and refined sugar from your diet- you wil lsee quick results.
Also, eat fresh foods, no pre- packaged stuff.
Good luck

Change up everything!

Alternate your calories - higher some days, lower others (but still maintaining a calorie deficit to lose)

Alternate your diet. Eat the same things all the time? Change your menu. Drink lots of water. Do make sure you're eating enough, too.

Same exercise? Jog instead of walk, walk instead of jog. Try spinning. Do intervals. Lift more weights for sure (as heavy as you can manage for 8-10 reps if you're experienced). Also try to have at least one 90-minute cardio workout per week.

Twice during my weight loss journey I was stuck on nasty plateaus. You've got to keep at it, but change things up--keep your body guessing.

Good luck!

My advice: Don't worry about it too much! You don't want to get discouraged when you are so close. Because don't forget: even once you lose that 5 pounds, you're going to have to keep at your healthy eating and exercising. It's a lifelong thing, so even if it takes 5 years to lose 5 pounds, that'd be fine. That's what I think!
