How about just working weights on your upper body?
Back, bi's, tri's, shoulders, chest, abs, lats, traps.

I agree w/the above commenter. Dust off your crutches and hit the gym weight room. When I fractured my foot, I still went to the gym-people were so positive and encouraging. You can still work your lower body/legs on the leg ext and leg curl machines. Go for it and speedy recovery.

Water exercise can be helpful for the mobility challenged. If your local pool has the belts to help suspend you in the deeper water, that works even better! No weight on the extremity, but you rehab the sprain much better with the water resistance.

Cycle, pilates mat exercises, and yoga floor routines also work

Try cycling on a stationary cycle, pilates mat exercises, and yoga floor exercises for abs and back.
