Did you gain more weight in your 2nd pregnancy than your 1st?

or less? Kind of an informal poll.

I gained about the same, but it was much harder to take off (never lost it all before 3rd lpregnancy), even though my 2nd was a much more aggressive nurser and gained weight more quickly than my first. I had my 2nd after 30, which also may have made a difference.

Here are my stats:

1st pregnancy = 28 lbs
2nd pregnancy = 26 lbs
currently 21 1/2 weeks along = I have already gained at least 15 and am totally depressed by it. If I keep this up I will gain probably 40 lbs. (or more than) ugh

The weird thing is I gained 30 lbs with my DD even though I was VERY sick for most of the pregnancy. I think the problem was I could only hold down icecream and I ate Spaghetti and bread sticks like you wouldn't believe because it was the only thing that would go down good.
Then with my son I was a bit sick and I would throw up every day. But NOTHING like my DD. I was able to eat healthy with him. I drank tons of water and I did my treadmill several times a week. I only gained 6 lbs with him:) After giving birth I was 10 lbs lighter then pre pregnancy. But then PMS hit and I was not exercising anymore and I gained it all back and then some:(

I am the 3:06 poster - I was MUCH sicker with my 3rd one and yet I am gaining more weight. For me it's because if I had even a hint of hunger, I would totally feel sick and nauseous. It was only eating that made me feel better. Plus, stcking to carbs helps nausea.
