You can make yourself crazy figuring that sort of thing out...

I always have the best luck going to an independent health food store and asking the staff. They don't often direct me towards the most expensive option either, which I appreciate.

Though it's from a chain, I'm fond of One Daily from The Vitamin Shoppe ("High potency with Antioxidants and Enzymes). 100 caps for $12. Unlike a lot of others, it's got 100% of your iron and iodine, lots of extra E, and a bunch of things I always see recommended for weight loss (PABA, Coenzyme Q10, Ginseng, chromium picolinate, Biotin, etc).

I take the One a Day Weight Smart multivitamin. Easy to buy cause they sell it at Walmart, Target... pretty much anyplace you shop that has any kind of medicine isle.

like first poster said, you can make yourself crazy but if you are female look for extra calicum and folic acid not just for mommies anymore!

One thing to know about calcium is that your body can't absorb much more than 500 mg at a time, so most mutlivitamins don't contain more than 30% of your RDA. Since I don't drink milk, I take an extra calcium supplement w/dinner to make sure I'm getting enough.
