I had a great weekend!

This weekend was great. I felt postive and more optimistic than I have in a while. Was it just me?

This was the first Sunday that I took off intentionally from exercise, and it was very nice. I also ate pretty good and don't feel as though I was deprived!!! That is my ultimate goal to be healthy and happy not obsesed and miserable!

Hey OP! I did too! :) I went out of town, but was able to control myself and really focus on only eating healthy things and then having one treat. It worked and I feel great! :) I don't feel deprived at all.

I love it when all this good fruit is in season!

I had a lot of fun this weekend with friends and felt like I was in high school again. I also did some great workouts.

I had a fantastic weekend, I actually had a less than horrendously busy weekend, got in workouts on both Saturday and Sunday, and got to spend time with some friends that I don't see much anymore... relaxing and energizing at the same time!

after having gained 50 lbs in less than a year (from medication-side effect!!), i finally noticed some weight loss this weekend!! i have been off the meds for over a year (the weight gain was about 4 years ago), and have been fighting to keep at improving my health. without seeing results for years, i have been very discouraged-but kept at it. and voila! it is finally paying off!! i went out to buy some pants that won't fall off me!! so exciting! thanks for this thread-it gave me the opportunity to reflect once again on how great my weekend was!!

My weekend was great not because I stuck to good eating, but because it was packed with lots of cocial activity which I both enjoy and dread. We went to wonderful restaurant after restaurant, but this weekend I made the best choices I could and practiced good portion control and kept the alcohol to a minmum. I also got in workouts both days. So I didn't make progress but I didn't gain anything either (thus far) and I am happy that I can go out with friends and eat in nice restaurants and not 'pay for it' later.

Today - back to my routine!
