GLUTEN-FREE FOODS TO INCLUDE IN YOUR KITCHEN SHELVES
For whatever the reason is, if you are eliminating Gluten from your diet, it is important to note another fact; that if you don’t follow proper Gluten- Free diet plans it can be a problem!!
Yes, that’s true because the human body has certain nutritional demands and that has to be fulfilled by us regardless of what diet plan we follow. Therefore it is advisable to consult a specialist and then formulate a Gluten-free diet that includes Gluten-Free foods and food products chart as per the requirement of your body.
Here are list of Gluten- Free foods –
1. Fruits and Vegetables –This is one of the most naturally available Gluten free foods available in the market.
2. Dairy, Meat and Poultry products- Since you are avoiding a large variety of foods, including these in your diet will maintain the nutrient content in your body.
3. Fish and other Seafood – Seafood has great nutritional value and is good for the development of the body.
4. Beans, Legumes, and Pulses – If you are vegetarian, then it is a must to dominantly involve them in your Gluten free diet in order to ensure proper supply of nutrients to the body.
5. Cereals like Buckwheat, Corn and Cornmeal, Flax, Quinoa, Rice, Soy, Arrowroot, and Millet. – Since wheat involves Gluten, it is advisable to consume other cereals and not wheat.
6. Dry Fruits and Nuts – These are rich in friendly fat and act as a lubricant for human body mechanism.

Is Barley Gluten Free?
Barley and Pure wheat grass are Gluten-Free Food, however, their seeds contain gluten. If not harvested properly, there is a risk of Gluten-contamination.
‘Wheat-free’ does not mean ‘Gluten-Free’. Ensure before purchasing any product.
Many Grocery stores sell Gluten- Free breads kept in the freezer. Moreover, if you are comfortable in buying those, some stores sell Gluten-Free baking flour so that you can bake your own Bread. However, check the chances of contamination of flour before consuming it by any means.
Certain brands of cereals produce Gluten-Free products, however additional flavouring or extracts in them might involve Gluten. So read the ingredients before buying the product.
Soups and Sauces involve wheat as a thickener. Since wheat involves Gluten, it is important to take precaution.
Alcohol that involves Wine, distilled and hard Liquors is Gluten- Free, however Beer, Malt vinegar, and beverages have a base origin from Gluten containing grains and thus it is advisable to not consume them.
When it comes to Oats, they are naturally Gluten Free, however, due to cross-contamination or flavourings there is a high risk of Gluten involved in it.
Is Farro Gluten Free?
Farro does contain gluten, Yep, since farro is technically a type of wheat, it's a no-go for anyone with serious gluten sensitivities or Celiac disease.
