Dizzy after drinking water

Sometimes when I drink a bottle of water quickly, I feel dizzy afterwards. Am I dehydrated?

I would say yes.
Just remember to drink water during the day.
Also, i would bring it up to your dr. or perhaps call and ask for advice.
Good luck

Your electrolytes could also be a little out of whack. Does this occur every time you drink water, or more when you've been exercising? If so, maybe look at adding an electrolyte balancing additive to your water, or a small salty snack before workouts.

How quickly are we talking about? I mean if you pour a liter of water down your throat without breathing, you're going to be dizzy from not breathing.

Mold In Water Bottle could Cause Dizziness

I've also had this problem for about 2 weeks. Everytime I drank water I would get light headed. The room would feel like it's swaying. At first I thought it was the water I was drinking. But soon I discovered there was black mold in my water bottle/container. Yuck! Check to see if your water bottle has any black mold growing on it's wall. After I washed out the mold, I don't get those dizzy spells anymore. Hope this helps.

It's possible that you are diluting down the electrolyte concentrations in your body with the water. Try drinking Gatorade or fruit juice or anything other than water and see if that makes a difference.
