just search once before posting...

it may answer your question-and it may have been answered many times before with more information than your own question might generate. not trying to be rude-just offering advise to finding sought-after information.

I search. I also start new ones, even when I've searched. I like to get new opinions and new takes. Since I'm always learning new things too, I think there are always new thing to add.

i get that, but why not add to a thread that pertains to your question? sure, new threads are great and informative, and thought provoking. but there are many questions posted that have already been answered. it's just a suggestion to see if maybe a previous thread can address your concern. i usuallly type in my topic to see what's been contributed, if anything, and then decide if i need to start a new thread or revive an old one. again, just trying to provide another way to answer someone's questions.

yes, if you add a comment to a previous thread, it bumps it up to the top of the list so that others can see it and add their comments - no real need to start a new thread.
