lousy excuses

what is the lousiest excuse you have made to either skip a workout or cheat on your diet?

i'll start it off: i can eat this tiramisu because i am still sore from working out 2 days ago.

It's okay, I'm not re-startign my diet until Monday so I can eat what I want now.

I'm depressed and eating this candy bar will make me feel better. [of course, in the end, it only makes me feel worse.]

I've had some bad news - eating this whole tub of ice cream will make it better.

I'm starting a diet tomorrow, so I'd better eat all the junk food in the house, and/or go out and get a takeaway as I won't be having one for a while.

First excuse happens in the shop: "I'm buying these (chocolates, cheese puffs) as a standby for spontaneous guests. I'm not going to eat them this time."
Second excuse happens later that same evening: "Well, I have enough calories left to eat one serving of that guest food, so why not?"

What actually happens? I eat all 7 or 8 servings that night, or at best by the end of the next day.

That "last supper" mentality is a real diet killer. Instead of saying "I won't get to eat this junk food for a while because I'm starting a diet" say "I'm going to start eating healthy and eat these junk foods in moderation or as special treats"

i've got to get these _______ (cookies, chips, ice cream, etc) out of the house, but i hate to waste it. i'll just eat it instead. then it won't be there to tempt me anymore.

i want a man who loves me even though i plan to lose weight. what if i meet a guy and then gain weight back? it's beter to meet someone while i'm heavy and then lose some pounds.

I'll do my workout later-when I get home from work; I want to sleep in. Then after work, I just have this one more thing to do before I work out. then after that "one more thing," it's too late, I won't sleep if I work out now.

I'm not a bad person, I deserve to treat myself nicely! If I want to have a slice of cake or take a break from the gym, I should allow myself to do it.
