Pretzels

are pretzels a bad snack? i just bought the 100 calorie snack pack..wasn't sure if it was a good snack?

100 calories is, essentially 100 calories. It's not going to do anything bad to you, other than use up 100 calories that you could potentially use elsewhere.

On the other hand, pretzels are simple carbs, mostly, and likely will not keep you full for very long. I'd eat 100 calories of a mix of fat and protein, rather than straight simple carb, if I was hungry and wanted to feel satisfied for longer. But, as something to munch on, the pretzels are fine.

watch sodium in the jerky.... I like protein shakes if made right can be quite tastey for about 150 calories.... well worth it because it fills you up!

I find that pretzels and jerky have there place when I need a little pick me up or just give me a little something to tie me over to lunch. And look at it as what is the alternative, a candy bar worth alot more calories.... Small steps... if the pretzels are helping out in the chip craving use them!

Yummy Whole Wheat Pretzels

I've just discovered them and LOVE them. Im hoping they are a little bit better than the regular pretzels made with white flour. They are made by Herrs I think - - Honey Whole Wheat Pretzels w/Flaxseeds. 110 calories for 7!
