Sugar Free foods?

Hey everyone!
A co-worker friend of mine is eating sugar free foods. I would realy like to support her on this (and no one else seems to be! ) In the past it helped her lose weight ;)
I personally eat low carb (mostly) and low fat foods, so i dont TRULY pay attn to the sugar and have mistakenly opened my mouth about some great food she cant eat! So, to avoidn this loser- like feeling again:
Does anyone have any YUMMY foods/meals they like, that i could suggest to her?
Thanks,
Workout25

I LOVE the Jello sugar free pudding cups, and the laughing cow ice creams. Those are probably my 2 favorite!

i don't have any recipes off the top of my head, however, i would suggest checking out cooking websites for diabetics. my mom has found a lot of great meals in diabetic cooking magazines, too.

I personally follow a diabetic diet, with less carbs. I would suggest making your own salad dressings, some of the salad dressing from the store are full of sugar, I have yet to figure out why.

Eating whole foods, will help with the sugar. How about a wonderful green salad with some grilled chicken breast, or a steamed artichoke with some herb butter. Make homemade soup as easy as dicing a chicken breast, a can of chicken stock, and a bag of mixed veggies.

Trader Joe's has several items that are no sugar like their marina and pomodoro sauces (hard to find pasta sauce with no sugar). They also carry Pear Gorgonzola Champange vinegarette for when you are sick of yet-another-salad-with-balsamic-dressing (this dressing is amazing with spinach and thinly slices apples, strawberries and almonds). A friend of mine says she also found sugar-free ketchup there.

If there is no Trader Joe's near you I would recommend finding some good web sites for these items. I also really like their roasted veggie tapenade for adding flavor to dishes and serving as a base for my own sauces.

OP here

When i said that i typically eat low cabs, i ment heavy carbs- like pasta or breads. When ido eat breads i eat only whole wheat or recently swtiched to sprouted breads.
Thansk for the tips everyone!
