Yay, Me!

I've been having a bit of a relapse lately--eating junk food and such. I just had to congratulate myself for walking by the candy bowl at work and *NOT* reaching in for a chocolate! Baby steps... :)

Go you! We also have a candy bowl at work - always filled with really tempting treats. A somedays-solution for me is to avoid the reception area. I try to take the back steps, so I won't be tempted.

Op here: thanks everyone! I'm glad I checked to see if I got any responses. It will strengthen my resolve as I walk by the candy bowl again to go to the restroom. I am strong. I can do it. My body deserves to be nourished with healthy foods.

Keep up the good work! Baby steps like this turn out to be big steps when you keep it up for a while! Congrats on avoiding temptation!

Perhaps we should all start a movement and replace the office candy dish with a bowl of grapes or apples or something healthier....would there be a mutiny at your job? I think my coworkers will eat anything, so they probably wouldn't even notice! :)

Yeah, I would never even think of eating candy unless someone else brought it out at work. It's so easy to eat it just because it is there.
