skinny jeans

Should I throw them away? I get within 10 pounds, get excited, but I can't get them on. I'm wondering if they're motivating or depressing. Any experience?

Well, I say that it depends on how old your skinny jeans are... if your skinny jeans are more then 2 years old... throw them away. When you finally do lose the weight you deserve to buy yourself new skinny jeans! But that's just my opinion, it's what I did!

I think they are motivating. But it's all about how they make YOU feel. I kept mine and now my skinny jeans are getting too loose so I'm going to be buying new ones anyway! =)

donate them, and find new skinny jeans that fit, to keep you feeling good about yourself and the progress you have made. Please don't just throw them away.

I have a pair of pants from highschool (7 years ago) that I've kept because I hope to fit back into them. They're neither depressing or motivating. I'm happy enough to *almost* fit into them, and it at least lets me know that if I want to work hard, I could fit into them.

Are they realistic? If so save them but realize within 10lbs at a healthy weight loss of 1lb a week is still 2 1/2 months from being able to wear them. Don't push yourself into unreasonable expectations of super fast weight loss. But don't throw them away just to need to buy jeans that size in 3 months.
