It was a real question. People can talk about boyfriends, PMS, and foul language, but I can't start a thread about peoples weightloss experience?

The person who is overweight will lose faster because more weight means your body is burning more calories all the time, even fat burns some calories (though not many, and not as many as muscle). For example, a 300 pound person will burn more calories in a 30 minute walk than a 120 pound person.

I think that last 10 lbs is always the hardest to lose. So, I agree with the rest of the posters.

If you've ever watched Biggest Loser it's usually the ones with the most to lose that lose the most on the scale and they're all usually working pretty hard in the gym everyday and eating right.

For me he does matter if I lose slow or fast. It matters that I am on the right track!
