zig zag diet

What is the zig zag diet? Anyone know?

Zig-zag describes a method used by bodybuilders to cut fat. You don't eat the same number of calories 2 days in a row. The idea is that you average out over a week. So if your target is 1400 calories, you might eat 1100 one day, 1700 the next, 1400 the next. This way your body doesn't stagnate/get used to the same amount of food every day and stop losing.

It's a great idea for breaking a plateau.
