victim mentality

This got me thinking, in response to the fruity cheerios thread. You are not a victim. The ingredients are right on the package of fruity cheerios. Anyone is free to read the ingredients to see the amount of sugar and you also have the freedom to choose if you would like to buy it or not.
You are free to turn off the radio or tv if something doesn't sit right with you.

Why buy into the whole thinking of being a victim? Well, maybe that's easier actually. Then everything in your life you complain about couldn't possibly be your fault, and then you don't have to do the work to change it either, because you didn't put yourself there in the first place.

i just cannot stress enough the suggestion to put one's energy into making changes instead of making complaints into the air. we actually can change things with a little effort. and the process of making changes is so rewarding, not draining like whining about things can be.
