what's "ITA"?

remember ladies-this is a public forum-people have the right to have faith-based groups as much as we have the right to WW groups or whatever else we want. it really doesn't affect me in any way what sort of groups the members of PT are in.

The subject line isn't misleading. Don't click on it if you aren't interested.

Agree. As long as the group name isn't "Jihadis Getting Fit for Their Big Day" we are fine. Quaker Fitness anyone?

The name of our group is Christian believers in Christ. I am sorry for anyone who has taken offense. What about Live and Let Live? I am just looking for some people who I could bond with. Please don't take offense. I am not telling you you have to believe in Christ to lose wieght.

your link doesn't work properly

Well, the big problem is that the link doesn't work. It sends people back to their own group. Which makes the original post seem very obnoxiously proselytizing -- apparently not your intent.

I tried the link and it worked just fine. If you want to join this group and are having trouble with the link, try pasting the following address:

To the original poster - I think a faith-based weight loss group for those who share a faith is a great idea. For those who are of another faith or who don't want to mix religion and weight loss or who aren't religious, well, they can be part of one of the million other groups on PT - from Goth Girls to Weight Watchers to Team Boston.

Thanks for posting!

I don't think that was what the poster was saying at all- the inference was to jihadi terrorists specifically.
