Speeding up your metabolism

So we know that eating too little will slow down your metabolism and your body will cling onto fat when it believes it is starving.

But what about the other way around? This might be a stupid question and a lot of wishful thinking, but can you trick your body into burning more fat if you ate a lot more food?

It's probably not possible but I wonder, because how does your metabolism recover once it has gone to starvation mode?

Yes, I think you can. That's why fitness trainers and nutritionalist say you should have 6 small meals a day rather than 1-3 large meals.

of course you can. it's called excercise.

when you're excercising you burn a couple hundred calories. But the added/converted muscle mass burns significantly more calories EVERY DAY. Think about burning 2400 calories/day up from 2000. Wouldn't that be great.?

Literally, your extra muscle mass pays off around the clock
