Baby Food

I just tried my 9 month old nephew's Gerber finger food (weird I know, but I was curious!! LOL), and they were actually pretty good. They kind of melt in your mouth, but they have just a hint of sweetness in them. I guess they're the new alternative to cheerios. Anyway, I looked at the nutrition info and it's like 25 calories for 80 pieces. Not too shabby!! LOL

when my stomach seemed to get upset with almost everything i ate due to some problems i was having, i ate the pureed fruits for babies. they had no added sugars and were tasty as well as provided me with nutrients. i think it is very important to taste the food your baby eats. then you know what their palate is used to when you begin to introduce new foods.

Gerber makes these Arrowroot Cookies for babies that are really good too. I love them because they actually have some healthy stuff too them, not to many calories, but just enough sweet to cure cravings when they hit.
