New and Previous Spotlighters- A Question

How did things go for the last 6 weeks- any accomplishments to note?

For the new ones, what are your goals?

I lost 4 pounds in the spotlight, which after 6 weeks doesn't seem much but it is - I went from 135 to 131.

I love the spotlight, love the comraderie but wish that posting was kept up and consistent. I find it lame that people exclaim how excited they are at the beginning and then drop off the face of the planet.

thanks pt for the spotlight though. The fact that it's free, you arrange it and I get to participate is unlike anything else I've seen on the internet.

I didn't lose during the spot light pretty much stayed the same but I also went thru a very stressful time w/my child during that 6 wks so my focus wasn't what is should be. But once the stress was overwith I buckled down again and have lost another 9 lbs (Using the Fat Smash Diet, just good healthy eating.) w/only 5 maybe 10 to go if I really want to nit pick & get obsessive about the wt loss. So I will probably apply for the next spotlight if I get a chance. Want to be more successful at it next time around.

I am currently on the spotlight team, going on day 5. I LOVE it. So far, we have an incredible group of girls and it is amazing how they are supporting each other. It feels like we are a big group of friends. My first weigh in is tomorrow, and I have a goal to lose 7 lbs in this six weeks. I will respond to this again in a couple of weeks and we will see how things are going!

I'm in this spotlight too-- hi fellow islanders!

So far... day 5... I've already noticed a huge change in the way I view food and exercise. I don't know what exactly changed, but something clicked- I can pass up food I know is bad and focus on the good stuff and I’m working out almost every day... in turn I'm losing weight! Only 3 lbs so far (from last week) but I know if I stay at this pace I'll reach my goal in no time!

The biggest thing for me is surrounding myself with like-minded people. This spotlight is sooo chatty and sooo full of positive energy that I really have to attribute my level of excitement and commitment to achieve my goal to spotlight. Thanks ladies!
