Hi I'm not a guy, but I think it's about 10 pounds for anybody..That's what we say at Weight Watchers..Maybe it is different for guys but I'm thinking it's the same for us all!!

I lost 50 pounds and went from a 38 to a 33 waist. So, about 10 pounds per inch seems right...

BUT- it's not like it was a simple equation of 10 pounds per inch- the first 20 pounds I lost an inch, the next 20 pounds I lost 4 inches +, the last ten pounds I lost an inch, maybe.

not a guy either

but for me it wasn't 10lbs a size. I have lost a total of 35 lbs and it was only two sizes- from a 12 to an 8. Even now I still wear my 12s from time to time and it's not like their falling off. Big yes, but not falling off.

My husband lost 50 pounds and went from a 42 waist to a 36 so not quite 10 pounds. I lost 60 pounds and went from a 20 to a 14. So really I think it all depends on the person, where the weight is coming off and where it is carried. Certainly my hip down could fit in an 8 but my belly is where I carry the weight.
