OT: Bathroom Remodeling

We are remodeling our bathroom and I need lots of ideas. Does anyone know of any websites I can look at? We opted for the pedestal sink and my husband wants a cased mirror. I dont like that Idea. I dont think it will look right. I think for the pedestal sink we will need a flat wall mirror. Any ideas/tips would be greatly appreciated.

Well -- probably NOT what you need to know or want to hear, but I'm home shopping and everyone has pedestal sinks -- and I hate them. Where am I supposed to spread out my makeup and hair stuff? I am going to end up un-remodeling some just-remodeled bathroom. Seriously, if you have a pedestal and a flat wall mirror, do you have room to put down two toothbrushes in a cup? Where do the shaving cream and razor go? Hand soap? Dental floss? Hair goo? Wouldn't a cabinet be more practical?

unless it's a usually unused bathroom like a guest one...

I went with a pedestal sink and just an oval wall mirror when we put in the bathroom downstairs while finishing our basement. My one advice make sure you have some area for storage. Is there a closet in the bathroom, space where you can put a small cabinet? If not then not have any storage in the mirror or the sink is going to get mighty inconvenient after awhile.

We have 1.5 bathrooms in our home. We usually use the half bathroom to get ready and the full bathroom for showers/baths. The guests usually use the full bath when they come over.

Eventually, we will end up remodeling the small bathroom also and will be keeping a cabinet in there.

We have some space in the bathroom since we are not going to put a cabinet and there use to be one in there. IF anything, it would be something small for storage.
