Are you a giver or a taker?

Do you give comments on other logs or do you only take?

I read my other group members logs and comment on them. If I have a question about something they eat I ask. They also do the same for me. It's really helpful and keeps me feeling accountable because I know someone is actually reading what I wrote. :)

I comment on the topics in which I feel I really have something to offer, or a legit answer to a question. And I always comment when someone seems to be having a rough time because I know I love any support I can get when I'm going through my own rough patches.

thank you for posting this.......... I am in a group with great teammates............ I feel in every aspect, I am a giver. But there are girls on my team whom everyday, read my notes, and push me to go on.........

I see their weightloss and meeting their goals, and although, I am somewhat vocal, for what they have done, they deserve more.......... I guess I feel vulnerable that I am still like obese and they are so close.........'

Like the fat girl saying........ I would give anything to be 140..... I guess like most of us coming to peertrainer........ we all wish we could be there............ and maybe, when they started, those 140's were exactly where I am.........

So now, let me be heard, you girls in my group, that have read my logs, supported me for the last 6 months........... Thank you, and I am very proud of what you have done.

I will be diligent in letting them know on a one on one basis. Because they have earned it!

I originally came to PT to get help, but I think I'm now getting more by being a giver!

I try to be positive (but still truthful) if I'm having a rough time.
I know others are reading my logs, and I'd like them to find inspiration from them, not desperation!
I will comment on others' logs if I think they need a little encourgement or congratulations.
