Cardio Training

I goto the gym every day. I usually start off running and then go on the bike. I have a hard time with the elliptical because I just have no coordination. Should I do different cardio or is all cardio equal? My goals are to lose weight and be in better aerobic condition - I'm into running and biking and hopefully swimming too this winter.

I think running will serve your goals about as well as the elliptical would, so don't stress about it.
But it's interesting that you find the elliptical to be more of a coordination challenge. I find it much easier to use the elliptical than to run on a treadmill (without holding on, which messes up running, at least for me). I do find though that different models of elliptical feel quite a bit different. There are Precor and LifeFitness machines at my gym and I find the Precor more awkward, but some people say the opposite.

I'm generally well-coordinated and initially found the elliptical very difficult to adapt to. I think it's because my feet are farther apart than they would be naturally? But to answer your question, do what you are going to DO. If the treadmill works for you and feels good, do the treadmill and don't worry about. 10 minutes done on the treadmill is better than 10 minutes avoided on the elliptical trainer!
