why don't you start a new group w/ the active posters in your group? and then leave the old group. if you aren't getting anything out of it . . . .it's not worth it!

Why don't you "whisper" (comment privately) to the other frequent poster that you are going to start another group to shed the 2 nonposters. Then start the other group. When she follows you (if she chooses to), leave the first group. Yes, the first group will show as having 2 open spots after you do that, IF it is a public group.

If you don't ask for what you want how will you get it? Do you want the others to leave, or would you really rather that they were more active?

"Psst! I really enjoy reading your logs and your comments, and find that I benefit greatly from the group interaction that we have. However I don't feel as though I get a chance to interact with you as much as I'd like - would you please consider being more active?"

Just ask :-) If that answer is 'no', then go from there.
