the workout mouse- funny
this is not spam, I clicked on this ad and laughed my butt off. They market it as a device to workout and work on your computer at the same time. I just cannot imagine that anyone would actually buy this.

At first, I thought they were trying to say that using the remote WAS the exercise. That would have been ridiculous! But I don't know, I can see how it might be useful...!

I bought a workoutmouse to help me keep up with my fitness training, even on days when I am slammed at my office or its raining. It really works great. I llove the fact that I can be sifting through my inbox to get rid of the junk, and by the time I'm done, I've gotten in all my aerobics for the day. I also use it when I need to do some web research, but don't want to be hunched over my keyboard. I can kick back at my desk, and enter text easily. The hotbuttons for browser, outllook, google, and favorites are easier to use than a conventional mouse. Very cool new product.

I personally don't think I could get the most out of my workout if I was also checking email. But if it works for you, great!

was on my way to greet a friend at the airport. As usual for me, in a bit of a rush. As I approached the airport I could see the landing lights on an aircraft a few miles to the south. At least I wasn't late. Going through the boom gate I collected my ticket. Quickly read the instructions, and placed the ticket on the passenger seat. The plane lands, I greet my friend, collect her luggage and proceed to the car. I passed the ticket to her, who being more organised than I, placed it in a gap on the console. I looked nervously at and wished she had of kept it in the safety of her hand. Something about $180 flashed through my mind.

"Calm down" I said to myself. We only had to drive a few metres and we'd be at the boom gate.
So we move off and head towards the exit. On pulling up beside the machine at the boom gate I reached down to grab the ticket. Damn bifocals. It was right on the seam of the lens. Instead of my thumb and forefinger going either side I pushed it into the gap! I could see it but had nothing to prize it out. A car pulls up behind us. I get out so I can reach down behind the console. Can't reach it. There is now a queue forming behind us.

Ok, plan B. Press the help button. Oh no! "Lost tickets may incur a fine of $180" written on that dumb machine. A well dressed gentleman gets out of the car behind us and starts raising his voice rambling about writing to the Airport Manager and I will be fined. I looked at him. His greying hair impeccably groomed. Expensive clothes. Hmm, a lawyer maybe.

He looked a little like the local Magistrate, but I knew it wasn't. Just my luck, a circuit judge.
