LA Weight Loss Team/Group?
Hey-
I just joined LA weight loss and was looking for fellow plan members. I want to see if there is enough people for a team or group! Let me know :)

I am not currently in the program, I completed it about 5 years ago. I lost a little over 80 lbs on the and have kept all but 15 of it off. I am a believer in the program and would love to join your group, as I still follow most of the eating principles I learned.

would you mind giving us a summary of the principles? thanks!

Summary: Nothing new....whole grains, lean protein, fruits, veggies. Depending on how much weight you need to lose, it goes something like this:
A lot of weight to lose: 5 carbs, 5 proteins, 4 veggies, 3 fruits
Less weight to lose: 4 carbs, 4 proteins, 3 veggies, 2 fruits
Example: 1 carb = 1 piece of bread, 1 protein = 4 oz or 6 oz of chicken (depending on how much you weigh and need to lose)
They give you a list of the carbs, proteins, veggies, and fruits that are the best. It is all about learning portion control and eating small meals often. Like I said, it is nothing earth-shattering, but it really helped me learn which carbs and proteins are better and how to control portion size. It's not really anything you can't do on your own but the accountability thing of having to go in and get weighed and write down everything (like PeerTrainer) is what did it for me.
