OT: new relationship
This is extremely off topic... I met someone recently and we really hit it off. Basically, we have amazing sexual chemistry - off the charts. Is it possible to build a relationship considering this? I really like him, but it is hard to focus on the actual conversation at times. ;)

Relax, enjoy, wait and see
Wait and see.... Great sexual chemistry certainly doesn't PRECLUDE deeper understanding of a person. :-) You might turn out to be perfect for each other. OTOH you might not, but you will at least have had some great sex.

It is too late to go back but i don't think it is good start out on a sexual foundation. Good Luck it can still work.

I was shocked to hear one of my friends started her relationship off w/ sex on the first date (she thought long distance wasn't gonna work out). 1.5 years and a broken bed later, she is visiting his family for Thanksgiving. It can definitely work out if you find more than sex in common. GOOD luck! :)

Don't allow sex to take the place of good verbal communication and you will be just fine. In relationships where I jumped in too quickly things fell apart because the intimacy that comes with sex often becomes your primary way of being in synch with each other and feeling close when actually you really have no idea who this person is.
Make it a point to get to know who this person is outside the bedroom and then see if you want a relationship - maybe you don't, maybe you do, but you won't really know til then. Best wishes!
