Should you eat before or after exercising? What is the benefit?

I've tried to eat before my exercise in the morning; but don't any other time during the day. Sometiimes the time crunch just doesn't allow me to eat before. Should I refigure my schedule?

I've heard arguments for both sides of that question. My personal opinion is that it is hard enough to be consistent with exercise without adding extra shoulds and don'ts. If you can find a comfortable time, place, and the motivation to do exercise consistently, just do it. If you're uncomfortable with an empty stomach or a full stomach, you'll figure out alternatives that work for you as you go along. Congrats on getting started!
