ideal carb intake for max wt loss

I am trying to figure out the est carb intake we should consume to maximize proper weight loss. I am trying to keep at about 120g a day

I deal with an extremely experienced nutritionist, who is currently working on the assumption that I don't have a sensitivity or allergy to sugar, wheat, etc. (which would alter her advice). 50% of my calories are carbohydrates, with 1/3 of coming from fruit and 2/3 from starches. At 1500 calories, this means 90g starch carbs plus 60g fruit carbs. I was eating a lot more protein before this plan, but now I'm off a dreadful plateau and back into the losing game.

However...this "formula" isn't necessarily ideal for you. Good luck figuring it out, and don't hesitate to seek out a qualified professional if you don't get anywhere on your own. I'm sorry I put it off so long.

All of these are considerably under standard nutritional advice, which is generally around 250-300 grams of carbohydrate daily..."
