WW points?? do they really give us to many?

i lost 65 lbs doing core but now since jan have switched to points. i just calculated today and this is what my findings are.......my new plan....starting tomorrow im counting calories..reason..i just figuared that if i eat all the points WW gives me (24 per day + 35 for the week) and spread it between all my days..thats 1450 calories a day (figuaring on an average per WW that each point is aprox 50 calories)....how the *&^% am i supposed to lose eating 1450 calories a day??

1450 calories a day really isn't too many calories. The whole mantra of 1200 calories a day for weight loss will cause you to lose muscle as well as fat during weight loss. 1450 a day depending on your height/weight is probably about right if you are a woman.

Are you kidding me? 1450 is not a ton of calories-heck, I lost more than 60 lbs eating 1850-1700 calories everyday, and the weight is still coming off.

try it out! sometimes you don't eat enough and that is what stalls efforts!

I normally eat around 1600 when I cut back to 1400 I am starving all day and I've never been able to realistically cut myself back to less than 1400.

First 1450 calories a day isn't a lot, tons of people lose eating that many. Second when doing WW they recommending not eating your 35 extra points, those are there just in case, if you just ignore those extra points and stick to your allowed 24 a day you'll be fine. I have 24 a day and I average about 1200-1300 cal a day. The point is your DON"T HAVE to eat the 35 extra points.

It really works not sure how it just does. If you feel like your intaking to many calories than don't use the 35, play with them a bit, see what works for you.

You could also exercise - a brisk 30 min walk would be an extra 200 calories burned, plus you'll be building muscle to keep off the fat and healthy habits in general.

1450 isn't too many calories per day. I'm guessing you are in the 150s since you get 24 points per day? It wouldn't be healthy for you to eat less points at your current weight. I cut back to 20 points per day when I reached the 120s....

I am doing the flex and I don't use my 35 bonus points on a regular basis. The only points you are required to use are the daily allotment. They ask that you always eat those. The 35 are extra just in case. I only use those on special occasions and even then I try to stay out of them. I also earn points everyday with excercise. I earn about 9 a day. I don't use those either. I am losing about 2-3 lbs a week.
