time change...?

Hey - I just noticed that the time on my posts are one hour behind. Does PT not believe in daylight savings?
I'm confused. I always thought that the time I posted was whatever time it was in my time zone.
Hmm - I guess that wouldn't necessarily make sense. I'm just not used to that, though.

Posts on PT are on East Coast time. I'm on the West coast, so sometimes my posts make me look like a real night owl.

OP here

2:33 - I know, thanks.
2:36 - I'm on the east coast - I guess I just thought the times would continue to match as they used to.
no biggie - just something I noticed (and decided to comment on!) : )

it may be because day light savings is 2 weeks early this year and if their program is old it will not update till the old daylight savings time...

How important is it?

I'm not sure it's "important," but it IS jarring to be up at 3:30 on the West Coast and post something and think it is somehow 6:30 and you have stayed up all night... And it is also ridiculous that this extremely simple HTML bit of code is lacking on this site, nearly six years later. This is the only site I am aware of today that does not have your own computer's time in your time stamp. Amateurs!

I would be very concerned if you think you've lost time as opposed to recognizing the difference in west coast/east coast time stamps.
