Ate like a PIG, but it's OKAY

Wow, today I ate like a pig, but I kept writing everything down..every morsel listed in my log. When I was tallying it up I found that I ate 1640 calories.
My plan is 1300-1500...I could not believe that I went only 140 calories over.
PT is changing me..I love it. Has it happened to you?

i think it's great that you were tracking your cals. when you felt like you were being a "pig". you saw that you were nothing of the sort! changing our attitude about ourself + food is definitely a step in the direction of long-term maintenence and something i learned on PT, too.

Yes. I used to think I was dieting but when I was honest with my logs, I totalled up over 2400 calories a day. I was shocked.

i agree that once you get yourself in the mindset of good eating, even when you splurge, you are not totally out of control. so start using better self-talk and don't be so hard on yourself.
