Offended?

I have a question for you all . . . or more of a comment. If you are easily offended, then why do you read all the threads? Its just frustrating that you cannot read or post a thread with out some one getting offended or some one saying something the wrong way and then everyone gets their panties in a bunch! I guess if you're offended easy its okay, its just the whole point of letting everyone know that you are that bothers me. This is a website full of different people which means a lot of different views/personalities/ temperments. Just accept it and get over it! This webiste would be a much better place I think. Ü

here's my opinion, for what it's worth. i read the threads that interest me and occassionally, i'll come across an extremely rude comment. a prime example is on the thread about "...going to church this sunday" someone commented that church goers are responsible for the burning of their chuches and the commentor went on to say how thrilled she/he would be the next time a news story of such a burning was aired on tv. am i "easily offended" because i remarked that the comment was offensive? i think not. sometimes you have to call it as you see it.

(were the rutgers women "easily offended" or did they react appropriately?)
