ROFLMAO

There's actually a secret fat person's kabal that sets the tone for fat/skinny interactions every 7 years. Just recently, it was decided by the 12 most powerful fat people in the world that the myth of the jolly fat man must be extinguished. In it's place will be angry, nightmareish fat people who chase down skinny people and force them to look at pictures of Jorge Garcia in a speedo.

Didn't you get the memo?

Why are skinny people so ignorant that they automatically link a person's bad attitude to their appearance? Don't you know you need to consume a couple of calories a day for your brain to function?

Mean people are mean people.
Stupid people are stupid people.
Regardless of their sizes.

I wonder why ex-fat people are so mean. Always seem to hear the harshest of judgment about weight from those folk.

I've had a weight problem for several years and I've never been "mean." I'm the same person whether I weigh 200 or 100, I've lost 50 pounds this past year and it has nothing to do with whether or not I'm mean. Fat people are discriminated against every day so maybe that is the reason some are mean. I know several slim people who are meaner than any fat person I know! Try to look beyond the outer appearance and you just might find a nice person there.

I personally find fat people to be jolly.
I mean how else can they make friends???
Just kidding. But I really know very few mean fat people.

I think fat people are nice and mean in qual measure to the general population. But they are way more thin-skinned than average.

To 3:03pm

I've lost 60 lbs, still a little ways to go, and now consider myself chubby rather than fat. I am not mean to fat people, but I get very frustrated when they go on about how they wish they could lose the weight. They clearly aren't ready to lose their fat suit, either for psychological reasons or an unreadiness to deal with the restrictions necessary, or else they'd be doing something about it. I hate when they ask me how I did it and want details, because I know it's a waste of breath. Every point I make is met with an excuse, and I just get inwardly annoyed...but I would never be mean. After all, that was me once, and not that long ago.

Maybe fat people are mean because they are mean regardless of whether they are fat or skinny? Either that or they are just hungry, lol.

Wow, this is my favorite thread thus far.
I think if I was carrying around 50-100 extra pounds every day I would be mean as hell. Have you ever tried to lift that much in weights? It's impossible!! I can hardly lift a 20-pound dumbell (I'm a 5'5 and an average weight). It's cazy how much weight they pull around.

I think people are people and they are however they are, personally, as an individual..
I don't know any mean people fat or thin. Some may be insensitive at times but so can we all. I do remember my first two weeks dieting and I was cranky but I dont' have it in me to be mean and I am well....fat. So there you go I don't think fat or skinny has anything to do with it.
On the other hand maybe you come into contact with people who have been picked on relentlessly and just couldn't stand facing another possible cut.
That makes it hard to go out and be around the general population.
We all wear faces and I personally just try to ignore everything that goes on around me, the whispers, the stares, the words that cut to the core of who I am.
See who I am, and who you are is not what you look like but for some reason people just can't seem to see that.

I agree some fat people are just plain mean. I work with two, and I attribute it to their extreme unhappiness with themselves, so I forgive them for the way they act.
