Are Tostidos and Salsa very fattening? I just love them occasionally!

tostitos- bad, salsa- good. if you must indulge, keep it in moderation and you won't do as much damage.

See if you can get into soy crisps as a chip substitute. They are great and come in many flavors. Good protein source too, so you actually feel full.

Obviously baked tostitos are better than fried but they're not nearly as delicious.

On a calories-per-serving basis, they're really fine for an occasional treat. But, you need to look at what a serving size is. It's something like 7 chips; not something like 1/4 a large bag. So, if you decide to have the treat, count out a serving size of tostitos first, according to what the bag says, and then have as much salsa with them as you want. The whole treat will be about 200 cals.
