I recommend you find a personal fitness trainer who is ACSM certified (American College of Sports Medicine- the gold standard for certifications in this country) and make sure this person has had experience working with arthritic clients. I know for a fact ACSM training includes working with special populations including clients with arthritis. Good luck, I hope this helps.

Diet for arthritis

Arthritis affected people should maintain an diet that is rich in folic acid, calcium, vitamin D and omega-3 fatty acids. Here are some of the products - raw vegetables, fruit, soy products, whole grains, aloe vera juice - read here, fish (especially salmon and tuna), walnuts, soybeans.

in my experience yes it does.. I have RA.. in my left elbow and both wrists.. I know what you mean by pain.. gluten seems to bother it..I have been gluten free, meat free , egg and dairy free for 6 months now also you may want to read up on night shade veg..I don't have a problem with them, but some do..

i am off all meds.. i took myself off and I am healing myself through nutrition and qigong is making my energy stronger.

its taking time, but it isn't excruciating pain like it use to be. baby steps. I can brush my hair now and get dressed without feeling like i am dying in pain.
