I've been trying to lose the same 50-60lbs. for the past seven years. I was successful a few times and then gained it all back. LIke most people, I blamed the diet. But it wasn't the diet that didn't work, it was me. I didn't know how to work at resisting cravings, free food, and other temptations. I've been sabotaging myself all these years and didn't know it.

While looking for the latest and greatest diet, I came across a book on Amazon called The Beck Diet Solution: How To Think Like A Thin Person by Judith S. Beck. In this book she teaches you how to recognize sabotaging thoughts and how to respond to them. There are tasks that you have to perform everyday in order to be successful on your chosen diet. She doesn't tell what to eat and does not even recommend a diet plan. You choose your plan and her book will help you get through it mentally. Let's face it dieting is hard work, mentally and physically and I need all the help I can get.

If this sounds like you and you want to make this THE year that you get the fat off. Let's create a team and finally cross this goal off of our to do list. You may read more on her website, or on Amazon and/or Barnes and Nobles' websites. You have to buy or borrow this book. I can't explain everything. I got mine's used for under $13.00. LET'S DO IT....FINALLY!!
