leaving vs. staying
A group member just left after a few months. She has decided to "go it alone," i.e. work on her weight loss without the support of groups. Anyone else feel like that...that they reach a point where they want to work on this solo?
I've been on PT for almost 2 years and sometimes I don't think I'll ever want to give up the support I find here...it just keeps me on top of myself. I pass through phases of more or less activity, but in general, I might be here long past all my goals are met.

Maintaining is a goal! I have no intention of leaving PT when I get there, because I've lost weight before but obviously haven't maintained it. That's going to be a whole new struggle for me and I want my cyber-peeps!!

I'm maintaining as well but I don't see a reason to leave.

I've been maintaining for 6 months and have no plans on leaving. It helps me to log my food daily and have the support of the teams and groups I belong to. I still have goals, they are not weight loss oriented but health and exercise oriented. I don't ever want to go back to where I was and PT helps me maintain. Going solo was when I gained weight and dieting solo didn't work for me but to each their own I guess.

I've been wanting to leave and go it alone because I am spending too much time reading and commenting. But I keep coming back. I think I'm addicted.LOL.

I look forward to hearing how my group members are doing and if they need any support. I know Im addicted, but then again this is a good addition. :-)
