PRETZELS

HOW GOOD ARE PRETZELS FOR YOU WHILE DIETING ?? I AM HOOKED ON THE HONEY WHEAT TWISTS BY ROLD GOLD.

As far as I know they are terrible for you. They are high in calories and they have a ton of sodium in them, plus they don't have very many (or any) nutrients in them. If you need something sweet to munch on I love to eat Vector cereal. It has sweet oat clumps and its crunchy... it seems to fool me into thinking I'm eating something bad when in reality its really good for me (my doc recomended it!)!

WELL I AM DOING THE WW PROGRAM AND IF I EAT 8 TWISTS THEY ARE ONLY 2 WW POINTS. I THOUGHT THAT WAS GOOD, BUT I GUESS NOT...THANKS FOR YOUR INPUT !

If you have an "extra" 2 points to spare, and you really enjoy them, then go for it! They're just not particularly filling of full of nutrients for those 2 points. Some people would probably rather eat like a pound of vegetables, because it's just more food. But if the pretzels are working for you, and are working into your daily point allocation, then don't worry about it. But yes, they're more of a treat than a staple. They won't make you full or thin, but in moderation, they won't really hurt you, if you can manage to fill up on the remaining points.
