Question about leaving a group

So the group that I originally joined started out great. Then the one other frequent-poster left, so now it's just me and another woman who never posts anything. Or maybe just the cereal she ate for breakfast. Wow.
So yesterday I *though* I joined a new group. I even posted a note saying hello. Today when I logged in, I'm back to my old group. Do I have to leave my old group first and then join the other one? Or did the new group just kick me out?

You don't have to leave a group to join another one, you can be in lots of groups and or teams all at the same time.
And your group can't kick you out, but you will get automatically removed if you haven't logged in a week's time (unless you check your "on vacation" box - then you'd stay in the group indefinitely... although if the rest of the group is active they aren't going to appreciate anyone being on vacation for 3 months!)

Original poster again here- thank you for that info (that's good to know about the "on vacation" box). I actually just realized what happened - I didn't realize the different groups were in the upper left corner of the screen and that you could click on them. Oops! Thanks again!
