Does anyone eat cottage cheese while dieting?

Does anyone else feel guilty eating cottage cheese? I get the 2% stuff, which is 90 calories per serving. Do you guys eat cottage cheese?

I absolutely love cottage cheese and eat it every day! I get the snack sized containers so that I don't over indulge. don't just think about the calories - it is loaded with calcium.

Actually cottage cheese is one of my favorite diet foods!!! It might be 90 calories a serving, but it's a decent sized serving (compare it to one Kraft single which is almost the same amount of calories). Also, it has a lot of necessary nutrients you might normally miss out on while dieting. Dairy (like meat) just happens to be a calorie dense food group, cottage cheese is a good choice when you compare it to the other options.

Oh, if you feel that guilty about it, maybe try the cottage cheeses made with a lower fat milk.

I ate a 1/2 serving with whole wheat crackers regularlary as a snack and lost 20 lbs. It really satisfied me between meals. With a little pepper...yum!

I do the Curves high protein diet and it is a staple! 1 cup low fat with 1/2 cup of fruit. At first I thought that would be horrible but now it is my go to snack! I love blueberries or pineapple!

I eat it all the time. I get fat free plain and add fruit and veggies to it. Or I just have it plain. I buy a big container of it and bring it to work and it lasts the week. It is the PERFECT afternoon snack.

Yum-O!

I love cottage cheese! It's a great way to have your protein and calcium. What I do is buy the low-cal kind with pineapple and have a serving or two for breakfast with nothing else. Totally delish.

Every day too...I eat the non fat kind and put fruit in it...cantaloupe, pineapple, even watermelon. I love cottage cheese! And it has great nutrition value.

I used to HATE cottage cheese. Now I get the snack size and sprinkle cinnamon on it. It's great. Eat with fruit and you have a perfectly balanced meal.

I also get the fat free kind and eat it with fruit. It's also great on salads as a dressing substitute.

Instead of canteloupe, try papaya with cottage cheese and fresh ground pepper. Yum.

Or cottage cheese covered in Tapatio.
