kimkins does any one do the kimkins???
Wondering if any of you follow the kimkins diet?

-Brenda Here . . . I just ran into a girlfriend who started Kimkins just over a month ago and already she is down 15 lbs. I had never heard of this before, so I went to the website to check it out. I saw the sample menu and started to wonder. It looks like the daily calorie total is only about 600-800 which scares me. That doesn't sound healthy to me. I've always heard that you shouldn't go below 1200 daily or your body will go into starvation mode. I would want to know a lot about maintenance before I would spend the money to join. And I'd like to see some information about body composition after the lightning fast weight losses people are having. Are they consuming all their lean muscle because they aren't eating enough? Those are some of the questions I thought of and intend to ask my friend about the next time we talk. I'd love to hear what you know about it.

I looked at the site and I think its bull shit. The huge amounts of weight that everyone has lost in such a short period of time and some without even exercising is a crock. The fact that its doesn't really show you much of anything is questionable. It sounds like the Atkins diet.

You might want to do a Google search for "Kimkins scam". The creator of the diet is being investigated by state and federal agencies, and is the defendant in an ongoing class action lawsuit.
