not a Whole Foods shopper

I've been there twice.... first and last. I tried to photo my hand holding a cottage cheese sized container with chunks of fresh mango, watermelon, cantaloupe, pineapple, kiwi, strawberries with my manicured hand next to the $8.79 price tag and security WOULDN'T LET ME. Hello!

The blogging is certainly unethical. But I must say I've preferred the quality Whole Foods to Wild Oats for some time now. I've thought Wild Oats had been headed downhill for years.

i agree that the quality of whole foods is just better-particularly in the prepared foods section. at my local wild oats, the prepared food were obviously recycled day after day and with little effort to make them presentable. the hot soups were put into the self-serve wells at like 9:00 AM and left on high all day. some days i would go in and check out the soups and they would be crusted and splattered all over the serving area. and the cream soups were almost always broken. having worked in the food service industry for many years, one can easily recognize these things. some store named "olive may" has now taken over in the spot where the wild oats used to be. seriously, wild oats-even with all of its problems-was much better! but i still prefer and regularly shop at the whole foods store. as far as the CEO blogging maliciously...it''s pretty innocent comparatively, but obviously still morally stunted. i don't think it's fair or logical to hold the entirety of whole foods stores responsible, though. my shopping habits will not change.

Love Whole Foods, however, end up spending toooooo much money. Love the prepared foods. Just glad the store is located 1/2 hour away, or I'd be there all the time.

This is why we should take everything posted on the internet with a grain of salt.

I think that Macy's behavior is completely out of line, and I for one, plan to stay away from Whole Foods (also known as Whole Paycheck) as much as possible until the the company's Board of Director's get's rid of him. I hope that the SEC gets involved, and I definitely hope that the buyout fails--I like having a choice of where I shop (and especially a cheaper alternative!)
And the last time I got prepared food at Whole Foods, the chicken breasts were dry, and the veggies were completely over-cooked. I was totally disappointed with my $20 meal (for two people!). I will shop at Wild Oats and Sunflower Market.
