Chili's

What is the best bet, health-wise at Chili's? Any suggestions? I am trying to stay low fat, low cals and low sodium.

It's been awhile since I've been, but the last few times I've been to Chili's they had a whole section of lower fat/cal choices - I think the items are called 'Guiltless' - and I always got the Guiltless Chicken Pita (I think that's what it's called.) Have you checked online?

OP...I could not find anything online under the guiltless options with less than 100% daily sodium. Strange. Btw, I opted for the guiltless grilled chicken with veggies and rice. I am on the fat smash diet and didnt want to ruin it.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find anything at a chain like that (or most restaurants for that matter) that's low in sodium.

I ate there last week and got the guiltless grilled salmon with steamed veggies. I forget the total calories, but total fat was 14g I think. It was very good, and I'm not a big fish eater.

I found a link for you:

See if that works...

Chilis is really horrible, calorie-wise. You have to go for the guiltless, or else for a salad, skipping the things on top that are bad for you - i.e. substitute a light dressing, on the side, for the full-fat version on top, and skip the bacon, bleu cheese crumbles, and tortilla strips that appear on top of all their salads, and get the chicken grilled instead of fried and covered in buffalo sauce.

You can ask them to altar most of what they serve, but as for straight off the menu, there aren't a lot of good choices. The Guiltless meals are mostly "treats" for me, not just a typical healthy meal, but it depends on what your caloric goals are.
