Oxycise?

Has anyone ever used or had success doing the Oxycise programs/workouts? I have the tapes -- just never seem to get past a week or two. Maybe if I know there is true success out there, I would stick with it! There are success stories on the Oxycise website, but I'm sure a lot of that is to sucker in buyers of the program.......

Haha, you got duped. Remember, the weight-loss industry is a billion-dollar industry, and whenever there is some idiot to buy something, it will sell, and it will be made. Remember that there is no magic cure. Just throw them out. Or sell them on Ebay to some other unsuspecting lazy fat person looking for a quick fix.

I disagree- I did oxycise for a while, and lost inches off my arms- which is one area I have trouble slimming down.

I have a program I like more, but I still incorporate Greer's breathing technique into parts of what I do.

Personally, I wouldn't rely solely on Oxycise as it does nothing for building muscle, but my experience is it can help trouble spots. (And I'm not one of those people who loses from my arms first- I lose from my abs first)

No question that breathing is good for you, heh. and tightening muscle groups can do some toning (in fact, part of the reason Pilates works so well is that it combines muscle flexing with proper breathing).

But I had to say--breathing isn't everything. Opera singers are among the deepest breathers on the planet...and you know what a lot of them look like! :::g:::

I bought the program from Greer back oh my 10 years ago maybe and tried it for 2 weeks and gained weight. I had even changed my eating. So no I wouldn't waste my money. I am glad it worked for the one who did see results but I would have to say I don't think it is the norm.
