OT - Mold/mildew prevention and removal

I live in an apartment (lowest level) and it's always moist inside. The sheets seem moist when i get into bed and the wet towels never seem to dry all the way. I was moving furnature around to do some deep cleaning and found a forest of mold growing on the back of a dresser and white spotches all over my luggage. I dowsed the back of the dresser with bleach spray and scrubbed it off but I don't know what to do with the luggage or how to prevent it all from coming back again. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!

Your landlord will need to contact their insurance company and have someone come out to mitigate the problem. Mold can be very hazerdous to your health so I would absolutely be staying elsewhere if I were you. It can cause asthma and serious respritory infections. It's a pretty serious issue so make sure to take care of the problem ASAP

I would move ASAP - mold can cause some very serious long-term health effects. I would also notify whomever in your city is in charge of building codes, etc., so that they can come out and inspect for hazardous substances - it's not only a danger to you but the other tenants who live there. Good luck.
